Harold Pratt House Wedding
DJ Dave provided sound and music for the entire wedding Saturday night at Park Avenues elegant Event Space The Harold Pratt House.
Cocktail Hour and Wireless Speakers
Bride and Groom had requested that Swing music from the 20’s & 30’s be playing as guests arrived and the same music for when guests arrive in the Library for Cocktail hour. DJ Dave and his assistant Stu set up Wireless Bose speakers (pictured below)so there was an even distribution of sound for upstairs and downstairs all WITHOUT unsightly WIRES!!!
Dinner & Dancing
We also provided a Bose Speaker, microphone and Ipod for the Dinner area. DJ Dave made a custom made music list and his assistant Stu help guests with sound levels on microphone.
After dinner guests came downstairs for Toasts, Cake Cutting and Dancing..and there was lots of it!
The Staff at HPH
Harold Pratt House is a Favorite Venue of ours. The space is very well maintained and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and accommodating. Madison was the Coordinator For this wedding and, as always, did a great job.

Dave Swirsky is just unreal. He was so wonderful to us for our wedding from the day we met him/signed with him, up until (and well after) the wedding. Our wedding was on the UES and Dave understood that the venue was a classic one, but that our guests still wanted to dance their hearts out. He didn’t disappoint, but also didn’t try to make the evening/venue something that it wasn’t. Every song was perfect – many of our friends who are very picky about music asked for his info after the wedding. They were so impressed that he was such a great compliment to the evening. He didn’t stick out as many DJs tend to do when they come in with huge setups and crazy props. Very understated and still an amazing MC. He was so sweet and easy and dealt with our requests like a star. He setup beautiful music for our cocktail hour and dinner which had swing. big band, and golden era classics and was easily able to transition for dancing to all of the current hits that everyone wanted to dance to. We love Dave – we can’t wait to work with him again and we just can’t say enough. Thank you for making our evening so wonderful and for being so great to work with.
