Park Avenue Wedding DJ

Park Avenue Wedding DJ

Over the years I have been so fortunate to DJ often at the Harold Pratt House that I was thinking of  changing my dj moniker to “Park Avenue Wedding DJ”.  I dj’d Jennifer and Peter’s wedding this pastJuly 6th at The HPH and provided music and sound for the entire wedding (from wedding Ceremony through to Reception)

elegant wedding ceremony with Bride, Groom and Guests

The music I chose initially as guests were arriving was warm instrumental music.  The ceremony was presided over by top NYC officiant Mark Giller of One Heart Ceremonies.
Mark set a warm, easy going vibe and the ceremony was both elegant and touching. For the ceremony (on main level) I set up just to the left of the entry door. After the Bride & Groom said “I do” and I played the recessional song guests headed upstairs for cocktails (in the library and foyer) and dinner in room across from the library. At this time my assistant and I moved my dj equipment to the other side of the room (which after dinner was where guests came for dancing).

Cocktail Hour and Dinner

As I mentioned, after the wedding ceremony guests were gently led upstairs for cocktail hour (in the library) and then for dinner across the way. In both rooms we provided a Bose speaker with a custom Spotify playlist for back round music. Also, in the dinner room we provided a microphone and stand for speeches and toasts.

Downstairs (Dancing, Photo Booth, Cake)

After Dinner guests came downstairs for Dancing and more. I, very happily, introduced the wedding party and then the Bride and Groom in the room and guests danced the night away!

Many, Many thanks to the Harold Pratt House Wedding Coordinator April Sherwin for producing another amazing wedding. We also always appreciate April and her staff’s hospitality which is always warm and accommodating. Thank you also to the LOVELY Bride and Groom Jennifer and Peter and their fun/friendly guests. It was a beautiful wedding in every way.
