Dave DJ’d our daughter’s Bat Mitzvah ten years ago, and we told him then that we’d be back in a decade for our son’s Bar Mitzvah! And we were. And last week he – and terrific DJ Corey – did it again. Just as in 2008, Expressway Music took the time to learn about our family and especially our child, and gave us exactly the party that we were so hoping for: upbeat from the first minute (notwithstanding the gray, rainy day outside); precisely tailored to our son, his friends and our adult guests (all of whom prefer things to be festive while, as the motto says, not too loud or over-the-top); full of games, dancing, laughter and great fun. Once again, Expressway Music helped to make this very meaningful milestone in our lives, that much more joyful. Special thanks to Charissa, who is endlessly patient, instantly responsive, and like Dave and Corey, gave us a wonderful day with memories to last a lifetime…. including Grandma leading the conga line!

David is wonderful to work with and we are so happy with how everything went at our daughter’s recent Bat Mitzvah. David listened carefully to exactly what we wanted – we wanted a fun environment, a lively hora, and music that was not too loud – and he provided exactly what we asked for. He was very responsive and always got back to me in a timely manner. David brought an amazing emcee who added great energy to our party. I highly recommend David and Expressway Music!

Everyone at Expressway is professional and helpful and DJ Dieter is amazing! He was the DJ/MC at my daughter’s Bat Mitzvah party and he truly made the evening special. The kids loved him and it’s easy to see why. Many thanks to him and his staff for a wonderful experience.

We cannot thank Dave Swirsky and his team for throwing an amazing party for our wedding! He really knows how to read the crowd. All of our guests were impressed by his music choices – one even coming up to us and asking ‘who is selecting this music’! Dave took the time to meet with us before our event to understand our crowd and our music preferences, and even gave us some suggestions. We loved working with Dave and his team – a super fun group to work with! Highly highly recommend them!!!

David and his team were great to work with for our March 2019 wedding. Our wedding guests loved the music DJ Mac played (as did the bride and groom!) and danced the night away! Additionally David and his team were extremely responsive and professional in all of our dealings w/ them. 100% recommend!

Highly recommend Expressway Music! We hired Dave for our wedding and he was fantastic. He is a true professional. We had a multicultural wedding- pronounced polish and indian names like a pro. He got to know what kind of music the crowd was feeling and really got the party going! His team was so easy to work with and overall just a wonderful experience. If your are thinking of a DJ in the NY area- this is your guy.

Please look no further than Expressway music for all of your wedding music needs. We are recent newlyweds and found Expressway through a recommendation from our wedding planner (our wedding was at the Harold Pratt House in Manhattan). We met with Dave and immediately knew we were in good hands. He listened to our music tastes, got a sense of our guest list and talked about the vibe we wanted for the reception. We also hired (through Expressway) Marc, a pianist, to play for our cocktail hour. Marc set the tone with upbeat, fun, and inviting tunes. Our guests felt welcome and ready to have a good time! Dave was our DJ and played song after song of crowd pleasing, everyone out on the dance floor…total hits. My husband and I never stopped dancing the whole night. Dave is extremely professional personable. He knows music and he knows people. He just gets it. We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Expressway Music!!

There are not enough nice words I could say about Dave and his team! They are absolutely AMAZING!!! I had a very specific vision for a karaoke wedding, and was unable to find any DJ who could really understand what I wanted. After having one conversation with Dave I knew I had found my DJ! He really understood exactly what I wanted, and he delivered perfectly! So many people came up to me afterwards commenting on how well our DJ flowed seamlessly between karaoke and dancing and did not miss a beat!! Dave is a great guy, and truly loves what he does, and exudes this when he works your wedding! His passion and enthusiasm are contagious and he got every person dancing (even on our muddy dance floor!) the entire night! I am so thankful I found him to work our wedding and would recommend him to anybody who has an event coming up!
