Dj Dave was amazing!! We worked with him and his team for our wedding past weekend. All the reviews here are pretty much true. He is professional, experienced and trusthworthy. Thanks to Dj Dave, our wedding went smoothly and we had so much fun! I myself as a bride, danced so much that night and my friends told me their legs were sore from dancing so much. We especially loved that he has so much experience. We were both so nervous in the week of our wedding, but we felt so much better after our meeting with Dave several days before our wedding because he was detail-oriented , assuring and he knows so much about weddings, not just the music! Overall, everything about Dave and his team were excellent !

Expressway Music is a terrific company, top to bottom, for handling your event’s musical needs. For our wedding in February 2014, my wife and I knew we should hire David and his company after our first interaction. He had been recommended by a friend who had hired David for his own wedding, and he (correctly) told us that we couldn’t go wrong with a DJ who has David Bowie and Outkast album covers on his office walls. He was right. David and his staff (who were always professional, courteous and helpful) set the tone perfectly right from the moment we sat down for our first chat. He understood our rather diverse musical tastes immediately. He let us think through each section of the wedding day and what kind of mood we were hoping to set. And while he encourages a limited number of requests, he is able to perfectly read the crowd to get or keep everyone dancing. He also goes the extra mile, as we had selected for our first dance a song that we could only find online, in a live performance YouTube clip. He cleaned up the track and made my wife’s day as she got to dance to the perfect version of her favorite song. I can’t recommend Expressway Music and David Swirsky highly enough!

David and his team were great to work with for our March 2020 wedding. Our wedding guests loved the music David played (as did the bride and groom!) and danced the night away! Additionally David and his team were extremely responsive and professional in all of our dealings w/ them. 100% recommend!

We could not have been more thrilled for DJ Mac to be the DJ at our wedding! After meeting with several DJ’s we felt most comfortable with Expressway and DJ MAC and he managed to wildly exceed our expectations. We are not huge music buffs, and relied on Mac to read the crowd and play music that was suited to young and old alike. We even had a friend come up to us and ask if we hand picked all the songs because they were all great!We used three different songs for our processional, and Mac seamlessly wove all of the music together to make it truly special and unique. Mac listened to all of the speeches and when a song from a movie was mentioned, he played the song later that night without being asked- a highlight of the night. It was truly a magical night and we know that Mac was a huge part of the success! We cant recommend him enough. He was beyond excellent.

David and his staff are just awesome. Professional, accommodating, sincerely interested and concerned, super friendly and kind of your instant best friend. They are excellent communicators, fun and talented. Our wedding party was awesome, we ended up with microphones singing (very loudly) at the end of the night and dancing until everything hurt. I can’t wait to have another party with David…I’m thinking karaoke! Thank you all so much!!

We hired David Swirsky to DJ our wedding and from the day we met him we knew we made the right choice. He spent so much time with us asking about our music preferences and about how we wanted the night to feel and he nailed everything. Our wedding was the most fun day of our lives and a lot of that was because of David. He was very responsive, professional, and friendly from day one.On the wedding day he made things run super smoothly and he kept the dance floor packed throughout the entire reception. He even struck the perfect balance incorporating salsa into our multicultural event. We also rented the open air photo booth. That was so worth it. People had a great time with it, the pictures came out great, the props were fun, and because it was open air, it didn’t detract from the decor of the wedding. Seriously, it was the most fun day of our lives. I can’t wait for another event so that we can work with him again.

My wife and I hired Expressway Music to DJ our wedding and they brought the whole event to the next level. Dave kept people on the dance floor all night. His ability to read the crowd and remain flexible in choosing songs ensured that our reception was a true party – I’ve never seen so many people constantly dancing at a wedding until ours! He was extremely receptive to our personal tastes in music and was happy to take song requests in the moment, which also made our guests very happy. There wasn’t a moment in the night where an unpopular song was played and the transitions were so natural that we barely noticed them. Everyone should hire Expressway Music for their next event – they will make it truly memorable.

We were so lucky to have Greg as our DJ for our wedding. Greg went above and beyond during the planning process to ensure that our night went perfectly. He was extremely easy to reach and happy to answer questions and accommodate to any changes. At the event, he displayed the perfect balance of MC and DJ. Our guests (and we) were blown away and no one could stop dancing. It was such a magical night and Greg’s professionalism and craft of feeling the crowd/ including all of our favorite songs (and the list was long) was extremely impressive. I highly recommend expressway music, especially Greg. Thank you!!!!
