First of all, I would give more than 5 stars if I could. The bottom line: not only is David a fantastic DJ, he is super easy to work with, professional, & kind. Let’s be honest, planning a wedding is not easy. In fact, it’s an epic organizational feat (or nightmare, depending on how you want to look at it). I was so delighted when we hired David for our wedding, as I immediately felt like I had one less thing to worry. No matter what my question was, David always replied with lightening fast speed. In fact, when I first reached out for a quote, I had a response 5 minutes later, with a picture of Dave DJ’ing at our venue. That’s pretty awesome customer service! We talked to Dave about the type of music we like & what we did not want to hear, then we turned over the reigns to him. Instead of giving him a play list, we let him do his job, read the crowd, & play what he thought was best. David absolutely nailed it! He had people of all ages up & dancing! Multiple times throughout the night, our guests came up to us & asked if we had personally picked the play list. Dave really brought the cool factor! I can’t say enough good things about David. His prices are fair. He loves music & what he does. You can tell that he truly cares. He is so organized. And as mentioned before, he is an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend David for any event or wedding! Do yourself a favor & hire him!

DJ Dave was the best addition to our wedding!! He kept the party going and facilitated the evening going smoothly by taking over all the MC duties. He was so kind, helpful, responsive, friendly and easy to work with from our very first call all the way to the end. He played our requested songs and everyone loved his own song selections! Most of all, you can tell he really cares about the couples he works with. I can’t recommend Expressway Music highly enough!

We hired Expressway Music to handle our wedding at a very elegant and highly restrictive venue in Manhattan. DJ Greg was our DJ/MC and be was absolutely fantastic. DJ Greg and everyone we contacted from Expressway were extremely friendly and very professional.

Friends of mine kept coming up to me after the wedding to say how talented our DJ was. We had a very international crowd of Spanish, Hebrew, French and English speakers. Expressway music was able to read the crowd perfectly and accommodate all tastes. David seamlessly wove international music, with hip-hop and nostalgic songs. Everything was perfect. Expressway music was prompt to reply, took the time to get to know us (our style of music) and even incorporated items we had asked for months before our wedding. The DJ remembered everything! From traditional Jewish folk music to tango to classic rock, the night was joyous and I could not have been happier with our choice to hire Expressway Music. I bet we would still be dancing at this second if the venue didn’t kick us out!

We hired David Swirsky from Expressway Music a mere month or so before our wedding celebration. Lucky for us he was available. We met with him about two weeks before the party. We knew then we were in good hands. He listened to our very general playlist ideas and more than delivered the goods. He is personable, professional and talented. We received many compliments the night of the party. I also can’t say enough good things about his assistant Taylor. What a great team. I highly recommend Expressway Music.

Dave was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ and all our guests had an absolute blast at our wedding thanks in large part to the awesome music that he played throughout the night. Dave was a pleasure from the moment we stepped into his office months before our wedding to discuss our vision with him, and he brought a level of professionalism and sincerity that no other DJ we met matched. He was more than willing to go the extra mile in terms of playing whatever music we wanted at our wedding, and varied it up enough so that both older and younger guests felt welcome on the dance floor. We had so many compliments at the end of the night about our DJ, and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough.

Worked with Expressway for our wedding. DJ Sergio was our DJ. I highly, highly recommend them. My wife and I are very detail oriented, and had a lot of ideas about how we wanted each piece of the wedding to play out. Expressway music owner Dave and DJ Sergio worked with us every step of the way. We wanted to use nice oldies background music for the cocktail hour and Sergio accommodated. We had a song play when I came out for the bedeken, and it came on at just the right time. We had several songs in the processional set to play for different family members and again Sergio navigated that seamlessly, which really added to the vibe of the entire ceremony. During the reception he played our first song right on cue as well. Sergio’s real talents came out during the reception. We gave him a must-play list about 12 songs long, together with Israeli music off of a jump drive. He played everything we requested and gave him but also used that information to weave in other music he thought we would like, and we did love all of it. He was a master at reading the crowd and knowing when to keep the volume on a little lower and when to blast the sound. He kept people dancing all night and every time the music shifted, people had a smile on their face that basically said “oh wow, this is a great song to play right now.” That really was the ultimate test for me – the fact that people were up on their feet through the evening and our Rabbi yelled “one more song” at the end, which of course Sergio obliged even though we had already gone over the official ending time by a few minutes. Sergio was also a genuinely nice, guy who was ready to accommodate any changes to our plans or to toss in something new on the fly. Really recommend Expressway Music and DJ Sergio in particular.

David was the DJ at my wedding in June. He was recommended to us by our photographer, and I am so glad that we took the recommendation. I can not say enough good things about David. When we met with him in planning the event, he instantly understand what music we wanted. During the cocktail hour and dinner the music was present but not overwhelming, and for the dancing portion he knew what would get people on the dance floor! I would definitely recommend him to people for their weddings and other events.
