Vanessa and Peter were married at Three’s Brewing in Brooklyn Saturday and had a huge celebration following with our DJ Karaoke DJ and Expressway Music founder Dave Swirsky providing DJ Karaoke entertainment.
Wedding Ceremony
DJ Dave and his Assistant Evan set up a portable Bose sound system and Retro Microphone for the ceremony and played pre ceremony music, the processional and the recessional. The officiant Eileen Lee did a great job marrying Vanessa and Peter. The weather was perfect and there really was an Aura of LOVE everywhere.
Wedding reception
After the ceremony DJ Dave played tunes from the Cure to Florence and the Machine and MUCH MORE and then the Karaoke began! The lovely bride began the karaoke with a song from “Florence and the Machine” and it didn’t take long for the flood gates to open! (See below)Guests sang songs from Eminem to Billy Joel and from Taylor Swift to Queen to Neil Diamond, The Beatles, The Killers, Queen and many more! Guests were so supportive and REALLY into having fun. All but maybe 5 guests sang at least one song and then when guests needed a rest from singing they danced up a storm with DJ Dave at the helm!

We hired DJ Dave of Expressway Music. He was referred to us by my husband’s sister, who worked events at City Winery for years. We were specifically looking for someone who could seamlessly DJ and also host bar karaoke. DJ Dave delivered with warmth, and professionalism, and served as a perfect collaborator in bringing our wedding karaoke reception to life. Venue and Vendors
Expressway Music and events owner/dj DJ Dave provided music and equipment for the ceremony and reception (dj karaoke combo) and it marked the 2nd wedding Dave did here at Three’s brewing this year. It’s truly a specail venue with a great staff, amazing beer/food and atmosphere!!! here is a photo of DJ Dave at Cocktail hour set up in front of the actual Brewery/Wedding suite! This was a dj karaoke wedding for the ages!!
Three’s Brewing is truly an ideal venue to have any type of event. There staff could not be more helpful and accommodating, their food is consistency excellent and the space itself is unique (which stands out because Brooklyn is a place filled with unique, cool funky venues.
the Wedding planner was The Day Of Company who did a fabulous job in every way. Day of Coordinator Rosalba Corrao was there making sure that everything was flowing perfectly and did so with grace and style. Before the day of the wedding Audra (who is their director of weddings) was very helpful coordinating details with us. They are total pros and we appreciate their help very much!
