11 years ago DJ Dave Swirsky DJ’d a wedding at the Sofitel hotel NYC. This week the grooms brother inquired for DJ Dave to dj his upcoming wedding and sent this really nice email:

Just wanted to say again that you were such a pro at Mike’s wedding…and a real musician. I’ve never seen or heard anyone span such a wide stylistic range (Ray Charles to Def Leppard)…but logically and musically. If you go from Hit the Road Jack to Pour Some Sugar On Me with nothing in between, people get confused and walk off the dance floor…but if you get there with the right stylistic profession, it works great. And that’s what you did. It was a virtuoso performance.
