Great Bar Mitzvah at unique Moise Safra Center NYC 2024
We were so excited when Isaacs mom called to book his Bar Mitzvah just a few years after we provided the entertainment for his brother Harry’s New York Yankee’s themed Bar Mitzvah at the Yale Club in Manhattan. Isaac’s theme was Basketball and the Moise Safra Center was the ideal venue to host his special day in many ways.
Cocktail hour
One of the cool things about this venue is that Cocktail hour and the event itself can be held on two separate floors. Guests arrived into the Cocktail hour floor where we had our Pop a shot basketball, foosball, air hockey and pac man set up (and of course we supplied the background playlist. Expressway Music Dancers and MCwere mingling with the kids at this time and doing some Isaac trivia!
Main Party
After cocktail hour guests were led upstairs by our Dancers and emcee for the main celebration (and what a celebration it was!) Here is a photo of the room before guests arrived; We had our LED light up dance stage as a centerpiece and off to the right side was DJ Dave and our lighting and our super popular photo booth with Basketball backdrop!
Special Moments
Isaac’s Bar Mitzvah was a real love fest. His guests were a mix between close family and friends who all seemed SO HAPPY to be there celebrating with Isaac and his family. The most touching part of the evening was when Isaac and his Mom danced to “What a wonderful world” by Louie Armstrong
Isaac’s party was a perfect blend of “concrete’ activities (Sports games, Photo booth, trivia) for the boys (and girls) and Dancing (mostly) for the girls.
