Daniel

Daniel — MC & Dancer

Daniel is one of Expressway Music’s most requested entertainers. A teacher by day and a professional dancer by night, he brings a rare combination of polish, energy and warmth to Bar and Bat Mitzvahs and corporate events throughout New York City, Westchester and the tri-state area.

His memory is legendary. By the end of cocktail hour he knows the kids’ names, and he calls guests out by name all night as if he’s known them for years. He’s also a professional Simon Says caller and runs every crowd game — Coke & Pepsi, Name That Tune, trivia, dance competitions — with the same infectious enthusiasm.

Above all, Daniel gets everyone on the dance floor. Kids, parents, grandparents, the coworker who swore they weren’t dancing — he reads the room perfectly and keeps the party going without ever overdoing it.

With Daniel out front, a good party becomes the one your guests talk about for years.

Thanks so much both for a fabulous party. We were very happy with the entire event – the music was great, Daniel did a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged and involved, we loved having such a large dance space, the kids were gloriously happy and the adults never stopped telling us what a great party it was!! So thank you for all you contributed. We agree about the space – it really worked out for us and the ceremony that we had downstairs was also in a beautiful space with huge windows and great views. Quite a few people have complimented Michael’s father’s speech – he’s 87 years old and a wise and thoughtful man so we were glad people got to see that side of him. Thanks again – who knows when we’ll have another event but we will certainly return to you if/when we do!

They were the DJ for my wedding in December 2010! When we met with them they asked us what kind of music we liked and we gave short answers that we didn’t really think about. It is hard to come up with all the music you like off the top of your head. I think they knew that . But they kept us there for an hour and talked to us about just normal things. Trying to get an idea who we were. I got a great vibe from them right there and when they showed up at our reception they sure did deliver! Every guest was on the dance floor and I think I LOVED every song he played! We even had our friend sing our first dance which they had all the equipment for. All in all they were fantastic! All our guests raved about the DJ for the next month! I recommend them very Highly!!!!!! USE THEM!!!

Bat Mitzvah Dad reviews Party

Right after this Bat Mitzvah at Split Rock in Pelham Bay, the dad stopped to tell us what he thought of DJ Dave and MC Daniel. Parents see the whole night, from the first dance to the last song, so their feedback is the review that matters most to us. Hear more about how we run Bar and Bat Mitzvah celebrations.
