The Foundry Long Island City

We can’t say enough good things about the Foundry in Long Island City. They have been so good to both Clients and vendors over the years that their standing in the event industry is immeasurable. In a City of unique venues The Foundry surely stands out as one of the most unique. Their logo is still visible on the corner of the building at 9th Street and 43rd Avenue. Within the vast grounds they offer numerous event spaces so you can truly tailor your event to your unique guest list and vision. The space is available to rent for weddings, special events, seminars, film shoots and much more. We have dj’d everything from Weddings to TV Wrap parties (and everything in between)here! If you are looking for a unique stylish vibe, for your upcoming event, with a friendly and helpful staff, call them today!!! (718) 786-7776.

Weddings We've Played at The Foundry
Violin for the Ceremony, a Huge Dance Floor After
October 2014
Our violinist Yan played the pre-ceremony, ceremony and cocktail hour, keeping the music at a level where guests could talk and eat comfortably. With different things happening in different rooms, Dave tied into The Foundry's own sound system, then kept a huge dancing crowd going all night. Indiana Market & Catering produced and catered the wedding, and Laura Pennace photographed it.
“We got so many compliments on our DJ selection and we thought the music was awesome and so different from any of the weddings we've been to.”

A Jewish Wedding With an A Cappella Processional
May
The ceremony was one of a kind: the bride's father officiated, and the groom sang an a cappella melody for her processional. Dinner was served outside under the tent, and afterward came the hora and a lot of dancing. Dave worked alongside some of the best vendors in the business, including Rachel and Roberto Photo.

We also played a Chinese American wedding at The Foundry, with a traditional tea ceremony alongside the vows.
