Ben’s parents wanted a party that didn’t lose the meaning of what the day was about. They requested the DJ (DJ Dave Swirsky) play great music that appeals to both the kids and adults, not on the microphone much and that the music never be too loud. Mission accomplished.

Venue and Bar Mitzvah Party Details
Ben’s Bar Mitzvah was held at the Manhattan Penthouse overlooking the NYC skyline.
Expressway Music Owner/DJ was the DJ for the Bar Mitzvah
Expressway Music Dancer/Assistant Cassandra helped in every way possible. The kids and adults loved her. “Cassie” will help lead popular dances such as Cotton Eye Joe, Cupid Shuffle, Electric Slide, Wobble and much, moe.
DJ Dave and his assistant also set up wireless speakers in the cocktail hour room playing and eclectic set of Steely Dan, Miles Davis, Ramsey Lewis, John Lennon and more for the Adult Guests.
There were also Sports Games for the Kids including Air Hockey, Foosball and more….
Dancing
This was a very diverse crowd with 70 kids and 70 adults of all ages and musical tastes. DJ Dave kept them dancing all evening..it was so much fun. Here is a photo of the Bar Mitzvah Boy Ben letting the crowd know the meaning of Pi Day.
